A Beautiful September Newborn Session

This outdoor newborn session in Missouri was everything I love about lifestyle photography. It was a gorgeous September day and the soft warmth in the air made it the perfect time to photograph this sweet new family outside at their home. The moment I arrived I could instantly tell what amazing parents they already are. Their love for their baby girl shined through in every single moment.

Choosing to do the session outdoors gave us the most peaceful setting. Their yard had beautiful natural light, gentle shade, and quiet spaces that let their newborn stay cozy and content. The way they held her, talked to her, and looked at her made each picture feel full of tenderness. You could feel just how loved this little girl is and how much joy she has already brought into their lives.

One of my favorite parts of this session was how their pets decided to join in. Their sweet doggie and curious kitties kept popping in and out of the photos, adding the cutest unexpected moments. Every time I clicked the shutter I made sure to double check for a pup tail or a kitty peeking in from the background. Their furry family members made the gallery feel even more personal and full of personality.

Sessions like this remind me why I love in home photography so much. It captures life exactly as it is. Your space, your people, your pets, your love. This September newborn session was soft, simple, genuine, and filled with the sweetest moments I will never forget.
