Defiance Ridge Surprise Wedding | Bridget & Bill

Today I had the pleasure of capturing the most epic Defiance Ridge Surprise Wedding! Yes, you read that right! Bridget and Bill pulled off their Surprise Wedding!!

Bridget and Bill contacted me months ago to set up this exciting event! Bridget had contacted all their friends and family and invited them to a “Surprise Birthday Party” for Bill! Bill had never had a big birthday party so it was the perfect cover!!

All of their guest arrived around 5:30pm with Bill arriving at 6:00pm. Bridget was so nervous, but luckily everyone chucked it up to worrying about Bill arriving. Bill pulled off a great surprise face! Then he gave a grand speech where he informed his guest “ thank you for surprising me, but the surprise is actually on you! WERE GETTING MARRIED!!”

“They double doped us”

“They tricked us! Did you know? No, I didn’t know did you?!”

“What a curve ball I never saw that one coming”

All of their guest were so excited. While Bill, Bridget, and their kids headed up to change their guest enjoyed some amazing wine from Defiance Ridge Vineyards, and headed down to the ceremony area. The ceremony was absolutely gorgeous! After Family portraits, their guest headed into to reception area while we captured some stunning portraits of Bill and Bridget. Defiance Ridge is such a pretty place for portraits!!

Speeches, cake, and First dances went amazing and then their guess partied the night away to the music by The Big Rigs, and gosh could they put on a show! They sounded amazing!!

I was so excited to play such a huge role in this grand Surprise Wedding!
