What Questions do I need to have Answered before I talk to a Wedding Photographer | Wedding Day Help

What Questions do I need to have Answered before I talk to a Wedding Photographer? Why don’t we talk about some commonly asked questions on google! This is a big one and a easy one!

Set Date

Why do I need a set date? As a wedding photographer sometime I have couples that fall book me two to three years in advance. So I would hate fro you to fall in love with me and I already be booked. BUT if your open to changing your date (Which you should be) I will ALWAYS ALWAYS find you a spot with me!

Venue

While I do not charge extra for most traveling a lot of photographers do. If you want to get an accurate price upfront having at least a solid top running candidate for a venue would be very helpful. This will also help with your timeline. Knowing if you will have your wedding and reception will be at the same location is going to have a big impact.

Wedding Party

Having a good idea of how many people will be in your wedding party will not only help your Wedding Photographer set up your timeline (and they SHOULD be helping you set up your timeline) but also help them to start to plan out your Parties Poses.

Importance of Events

What do I mean by this? What events are most important to you to have captured? Getting Ready, Reception lets Party, Details, etc.

First Time you see Each other

So many people feel like the fist time they see each other has to be when she is walking down the isle. BUT one of my most favorite things about weddings today is that literally anything is acceptable! My favorite is First Looks. Why you may ask? Number one: private time! This is the one time in your day where you two get to have a second to yourselves (with a photographer watching lol). Number two: less stress! He or the person at the front of the isle doesn’t have to worry about everyone looking at him waiting to see what he will do, while he is also worries about repeating all the words correctly ect. Ninety-Nine percent of the time when I explain it to guys this way they are so so on board! Number Three: this frees up so much time! You no longer have just one option for your timeline. It opens up so many more doors!
